Why the Holidays are the Perfect Time to Sell Your Orange County Home

You may be thinking that the Holidays are a horrible time to put your home on the market.  I'd like you to consider the following three reasons why I believe this Holiday Season is the perfect time to sell your home in Orange County.

 

1. More Buyers are Looking

Actually, there are more SERIOUS buyers out during the Holidays.  Qualified, motivated buyers will use their Holiday Vacation time to go home shopping - and they won't see your home if you don't get it on the market!  Re-location buyers are also re-engaged during the Holidays - espectially folks starting new jobs in the New Year.

2. Home Buyer Tax Credit

The expanded and improved Home Buyer Tax Credit has more buyers out now than ever before.  Many buyers held off buying in November as there was uncertainty about the extension.  Now that is is a done deal, they are back in the buying game.  

3. There aren't any homes to buy! 

Ask some of my Orange County home buyers who have made over 30 offers and still do not have a home of their own to show for it.  Take advantage of the current seller's market.  If you are motivated to sell, (especially if you have an equity position in your home) if you price your home correctly, if you have your home ready and staged to sell, you will be successful this Holiday Season.
