Coto de Caza Real Estate - June 2010 Update

Posted by Leslie Eskildsen on Tuesday, July 13th, 2010 at 5:11pm.

Home sales in Coto de Caza took a twist in June.   The home sales in the $1 - $2 Million range surpassed the traditionally more rapidly moving under $1 Million dollar Coto home market.  More good news is that there were actually 4 closed sales in the over $2 Million range - after a two monhts of no closings at all in this range!

Here's the way the numbers play out:

Of the four closed sales over $2 Million - 2 were in Weatherly - one sold for just under $3.8 Million and the other for just under $2.7 Million.  The total number of homes for sale in Coto de Caza remains failry consistent, and is still consistently spread across the three price ranges.  New Open Escrows in the $1 Million and under range are down from May - maybe the inpact of the expiration of the Home Buyer Tax Credit?  We'll know more about that in May.
